[Celebrities_Lalaine] Lindsay Lohan's Secret Sister?

Lindsay Lohan's Secret Sister?

Tina Dirmann and Natalie Finn Fri Jun 27, 11:30 AM ET

Los Angeles (E! Online) - Michael Lohan's been logging some quality father-daughter time with Lindsay this week, hanging on the set of her new flick, Labor Pains.

Little did he know he'd end the week starring in his own potential blockbuster, let's call it Paternity Pains, featuring a girl who may be Lindsay's secret sister.

The elder Lohan is shooting down a claim that he fathered a girl with another woman while he was separated from ex-wife Dina Lohan.

Speaking to E! News today, Michael Lohan admited to having a relationship with a woman named Kristi, whom he met in Houston. He said they reconnected in 1995, while he and Dina were on the rocks.

"I was with her twice," he says. "Then 10 years later, while I was in jail, she called me and told me that her husband at the time turned up negative in the paternity test, and she told me that meant I was the father.

"I haven't seen [the woman] for 13 years. I believed her at first but now, out of nowhere, she's gone public. This is a woman with a lot of issues, I don't know if I can trust her," he continues, adding that the girl's name is Ashley.

"My lawyers are working on this. There's going to be a paternity test."

Which would suit Kristi Kaufmann, the object of Lohan's past affection, just fine.

"He was supposed to take a paternity test seven years ago but he disappeared off the face of the earth," the 44-year-old massage therapist who's currently living in Florence, Mont., told E! News Friday. "I need to find a really good lawyer. I'm looking into it.  I just want this to be resolved and the truth to be told."

"It's just too much to take," Kaufmann said. "The truth will come out. I have letters from years ago that prove it; I saved it all. I had a feeling this would happen one day. He's trying to save his own butt.

"He's never physically met [Ashley].  They've spoken on the phone many times."

Asked if he wrote such letters, Lohan says: "I don't know, I can't remember. Of course there were correspondence, but I can't remember what they said."

Kaufmann said that she first met Lohan in the 1980s through a friend and they didn't make another connection until 1994.

"We saw each other for a month, then he took off again. I gave him an open door and didn't speak to him again until '97 when he was in jail and I told him about Ashley," who was born in 1995.

And apparently a paternity test wasn't the only thing Lohan promised them, according to Kaufmann.

"He was going to do for Ashley what he did for Lindsay's career, the whole thing," she said.

But while Ashley may have dodged a bullet in that respect, the 13-year-old is at least relieved that her family ties have finally gone public, her mom said.

"She's been waiting for this for a very long time. She's very angry with what Michael has done to her over the past several years."

After this whole thing blew up, "I called and left him a scathing message. He's called several times today but we're not answering. When you stand up to Michael you get viciously and verbally assaulted. Dina is going to know who I am."

But not in the way that the world knows who Dina is, Kaufmann added.

"I'm not looking for the fame, I don't care about that, that's not what I want," she said. "I want support for my daughter, I want the truth to be known and I want her siblings to know who she is so that if they want a relationship with her than it's there."

Michael, 48, and Dina, 45 married in 1985 and had four children together—Lindsay, who turns 22 next Wednesday; Michael Jr., 20; Ali, 14; and Cody, 12—before divorcing in 2007. The two youngest kids star with their mom on E!'s Living Lohan.

"Those are [Ashley's] siblings and she would love to meet them," Kaufmann said. "It was one fo the things that has made me so angry with Michael is that he has denied her family and medical history."

Lindsay, meanwhile, continues her postrehab comeback with a guest stint on Ugly Betty and the in-production Labor Pains.

Speaking of the latter, Michael Lohan tells E! News that he got permission from his probation officer to fly to L.A. this week to be with his oldest child.

"I visited Lindsay on set a number of times, and we hung out in her trailer," he says. "It was so good being with her, spending a lot of time together. She's better than I've seen her in a long, long time."

Eighties child stars COREY HAIM and COREY FELDMAN were both molested by different men when they were just 14.

The pair, both 36, made the revelations during an angry confrontation with each other on their US reality TV show Two Coreys.

Haim berates Feldman for standing by while an unnamed man interfered with him.

In the fiery episode, he says, "You let me get f**cked around in my life. Raped, so to speak, when I was 14 and a half, by a guy you still hang out with.

"What did you think when you saw that s**t going on with me?"

Feldman replies, "I was being molested at the same time by someone else. What did you do?"

The second season of their reality show kicked off this month on the A&E network.

[Celebrities_Lalaine] Corey Feldman puts an end to shocking rumours

Corey Feldman puts an end to shocking rumours

Corey Feldman has denied he was ever abused by Michael Jackson

« previous  1 of 2  next »

Former child star COREY FELDMAN has put an end to rumours he was once molested by pop superstar MICHAEL JACKSON - insisting the singer is innocent of any abuse claims.

Feldman was a close friend of the Thriller hitmaker throughout his childhood and was subpoenaed as a witness during Jackson's 2005 child abuse trial.

And because the actor, now 36, was placed under a strict gagging order, he was forbidden from talking about the case - even to defend his former pal.

Feldman has now revealed that while he was the victim of childhood abuse - the perpetrator was definitely not Jackson.

He tells GQ magazine: "People can say whatever they want, but it wasn't Michael. He and I have our own issues, but that wasn't one of them. The guy that did this to me was my assistant. I was still a virgin at the time. I hadn't even had sex with a girl. So for me it was just kind of bewildering."

Jackson was tried on accusations of alleged abuse in 2005 but was eventually acquitted of all charges.

Hilary Duff, who won raves for her role as an Asian superstar in the political satire "War, Inc." has found a way to beat the heat, joining the cast of the new comedy "Stay Cool."

Duff co-stars in "Cool" with Winona Ryder, Sean Astin, Chevy Chase and Jon Cryer. The project comes from filmmakers Mark and Michael Polish, and begins shooting next month.

It is described as a "knowing-your-age comedy," centering on a successful author (Mark Polish) who is forced to confront an unrequited high school crush (Ryder) when he returns home to deliver a commencement address to graduating seniors.

Duff will portray a sexy high school senior who flirts with the visiting author and invites him to the prom.

The actress has been slowly moving beyond the tween audience that powered her to stardom with the Disney TV series "Lizzie McGuire" and a succession of chart-topping albums. She will be back in the studio to work on her fifth album this summer.

Britney and Maloof in Cahoots for New Album!

Britney SpearsTMZ has learned that Britney Spears is working on a new album -- and Vegas kingpin George Maloof is behind it!

Our sources say the album is being recorded at Maloof's Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

We're guessing former manager Larry Rudolph, who's been back in the picture for a while, is producing the album.

Maloof is trying to extend his long arm into the music biz -- and is also behind Ali Lohan's upcoming album.

A call to Maloof's rep was not immediately returned.

The flipside of Lalaine Vergara-Paras

The flipside of Lalaine Vergara-Paras

By Cat Maniego
Photography Diana Noche

In the two seasons that the short-lived series enjoyed on Disney, 17-year-old Lalaine Vergara-Paras has enjoyed not a small amount of attention—gaining for herself a loyal following among the teen and preteen sets.

Now that she's shed her Miranda persona, Lalaine is ready to move on to more exciting things. These include guest stints on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a turn in a Disney movie, recording her first album, and exploring her Filipino roots.

Although born in the US, Lalaine lived in the Philippines for four years, hopping from Manila to Cebu to Batangas, before moving to Burbank, California.

This time, she's back! And she's not alone. To accompany her as she returns to her roots after nearly a decade abroad, she's brought a camera along with her to capture every moment of her journey.

For three weeks, she will be shooting a brand-new television show called Flipside, which chronicles the adventures of a girl rediscovering her roots and reintroducing herself to the different cultures and traditions, not to mention the native cuisine, along the way. It will be shown internationally on the Living Asia Channel, and hopefully, locally as well.

We recently sat down with Lalaine for a téte-a-téte and a glimpse of what makes this petite young Pinay tick.

So how does it feel to be back?

Um, it's not like its weird or anything, I don't feel like I'm adapting to anything except maybe the time differences (chuckles), y'know, the jet lag? But I dunno, it feels kinda natural… I mean, the traffic's crazy here, but hey (shrugs). And I don't remember as much buildings as there is now from when I was here [before], like when we were flying over, I was, like, "Wow… I do not remember that much buildings." But at the same time, you never forget the feeling.

Do you still have relatives here?

Yeah. Actually, we had two relatives that stopped by the hotel (last week). But, yeah… my mom knows more of our relatives out here than I do. I mean, I don't remember all of them from when I was still young.

Are both your parents Filipino?

Yes. My mom is Filipina but my dad is (mixed) Filipino (and)... something.

When did you first go to the United States?

Well, I was born in Burbank, California. I lived here (in the Philippines) from 1990 to 1995. But after that, I went back to the States, and I haven't been back since then. (We lived) mostly in Manila, but my dad moved around a lot, so we lived in a bunch of places. Like… we lived in Manila probably the longest, but we lived also in Cebu, and Batangas… so, there.

Can you speak Filipino?

Yeah, I can. Wait... um... gutom ka ba (are you hungry)? I speak it really well, but some of it's choppy, so… kasi kumain na ako, doon sa kuwarto ko, pero kung gutom ka, may pagkain dito (because I ate already inside my room, but if you're hungry there's food here).

What is your most vivid memory of the Philippines?

Well, it's probably the main things… like, the jeepneys and the tricycles. I remember that because whenever we went around from place to place, that's what we'd ride. I remember I used to love those things. I haven't ridden on one since we've been here. But, y'know, it's the main things like that.

That's kinda different, because whenever I ask that question, people always mention the food.

Well, yeah, I mean, you gotta miss the food, too!

What's your favorite Filipino food?

Mine's probably pork adobo and sinigang… love sinigang! Pastries like… ensaymada and… I miss the mani (peanuts)out here. Like, the salty ones with the garlic? Yeah! I've been munching on those ever since I've been here!

So, what have you been doing (since you've been back)?

Working! Monday to Saturday, I have shoots for Flipside (a show on the cable channel Living Asia). It's about a young Filipina revisiting and rediscovering her roots. So yeah, Monday to Saturday, I'm working and then Sunday is my rest day, so we get out and go… shop (laughs).

How did you end up doing Flipside?

Well, I was approached with the idea. As soon as I saw the concept of the show, I liked it right away. Because one, I liked the concept of revisiting the Philippines, and two, I wanted my friends to know more about my heritage; I wanted it to be more publicized and get out more, because not everyone knows, some are just finding out. And you know, I'm proud of my roots, so I want to publicize that I'm not just whatever-Mexican. I'm Filipino, and that's mostly who I am.

So where have you been to already?

Lotsa places! I mean, we have our different segments of places like Intramuros, then we have our food segments… and they're everywhere! They're not in just one place. Like we're doing a segment here, then we zip up to do another food segment… they're everywhere so it's really nice. I actually like that idea.

Back in the States did you still like, follow Filipino practices?

Um, the closest thing I can get to culture, Filipino-wise, is my family. And the food, of course. My aunt, I love going to her place, even though she lives far, like two hours away, I wouldn't mind driving out there because my cousin [and I], we're like best friends, and every time I go there, my aunt always has food for us to eat. There has not been a time when we couldn't eat at her house, and she cooks a lot of my favorites, like adobo, kare-kare… I'm trying to think what else, but a lot of stuff. That's the main thing, really, it's my family, because of the food and all, plus just the atmosphere of just being with them and the things they talked about. And they all talk in Tagalog, they never talk in English…

We discovered you on the Lizzie McGuire series. What projects did you do after that?

After Lizzie, Wish, the Disney movie. And then after that, that's when I really started getting back into music, because I did a song for Wish called "You Wish," which is the title track to it. And then, I'd audition for whatever, but I started focusing on the music, and now I'm putting an album together.

What kind of music do you listen to?

My music is kind of a rock-pop, if that makes sense. And I write my music, which helps a lot. There's something different about singing music you write. You won't always remember your lyric, but you'll know it more and you'll feel it more if you wrote it down. Music I listen to? I like all kinds of music, except maybe heavy metal. Not that there's anything wrong with Kurt (Cobain). My favorite bands are Maroon 5, singers like Joss Stone, Fefe Dobson… I used to hate country music, with a passion, and now I like it. A lot of country music is actually really funny.

I saw you on Buffy (the Vampire Slayer) the other night. What's up with that?

I did a couple of episodes. It was just really short, I was going to be one of the potential Slayers, and it was hard because when I got it, I had already got several concerts booked before that, and it was hard to work my schedule around it, so they made me kill myself.

What do you do for fun in your spare time?

Because everything's already so crazy, auditions and work and whatever, for me, I love to just chill out with my friends. Sometimes, we like to go do crazy things, y'know? My friend's been trying to get me to go paintballing. I haven't yet. We like to go play basketball, football… but most days, we all just go over and hang out at a friend's house.

What about school?

I'm graduated. I'm done with it. I graduated a year earlier, because I'm in home school, so I sorta zipped right through it.

Any plans for college?

Yeah! Even when I was in high school, I was doing college classes where I live for credit and stuff. And now, I'm still doing college classes and I'm going to start up in the fall. But it's getting a little harder because I can't exactly go to the college and show up, so I'm doing online college. I'm doing certain classes but I don't have a specific course yet.

Thank you for being a member of the Female Actress and Singer Portraits Yahoo group.

This is a picture group! The basic idea is that I post good-looking actress and lady singer pictures from my collection. If you want to talk about an actress or lady singer in an e-mail, that's OK too.

Please set up your membership so that you will receive the group e-mails with either of this "Message Delivery" setting: Individual emails - Receive individual messages. This way you will get not only all the group e-mails, but all the picture attachments as well.

Please read the group description. Here are the remaining goals for the group, besides sharing nice pictures of actresses and lady singers.

1) I will not OK SPAM or off-topic posts, another reason to receive group e-mails. No advertisements will be approved, and I seldom approve e-mails talking about other web sites. E-mails about other similar Yahoo groups are OK and will be approved.
2) The "Photos" and "Files" sections will not be updated.
3) Yahoo is really fussy about adult-oriented pictures. So I cannot send out any adult pictures.
4) There have been some problems with people sending out e-mails that look like they are from this group or from group members. Please do not open any attachments with filetypes of .EXE, or .ZIP, or .BAT etc.! We only send out .JPG file attachments.

Thanks from DrBeaker2.
